The US Department of Health & Human Services has announced an Environmental Justice Community Innovator Challenge to find community-driven strategies to address environmental and climate change health issues. Offering prizes ranging from $25,000 to $70,000, a total of $1,000,000 is available to those with an innovative concept to enhance community-driven efforts to mitigate environmental health disparities within disproportionately impacted communities.
The first phase of the submission period is open until January 30, 2024. Webinars will be available for both general information and for Tribes looking to participate.
