California Department of Public Health Highlights Diisocyanate and Work-Related Asthma

Diisocyanates are a known cause of work-related asthma, but workers using the chemicals continue to get debilitating lung disease. For Asthma Awareness Month, the California Department of Public Health is highlighting the risks and providing resources to prevent work-related asthma. Tips include switching to safe chemicals and processes, using engineering controls, medical surveillance, and more.
