Members of the California Healthy Housing Coalition (CHHC), including RAMP staff, gathered on June 15-16, 2023, for the first in-person Annual Meeting since 2020. The two-day event featured lively presentations and in-depth discussions on a wide range of healthy housing issues.

- Assemblymember Tasha Boerner Horvath opened the meeting with an inspiring message about the value of CHH’s work on health and equity, the opportunities ahead, and the importance of AB 548, a code enforcement bill.
- “Updates from the Field” covered lead poisoning prevention and tenants’ rights.
- Day two featured exciting work being done around climate change and healthy housing as they relate to wildfire smoke, investment in public works, and more.

Also not to be missed: CHHC’s Webinar Series for National Healthy Homes Month. The webinars covered a range of common healthy homes challenges, and provided practical information to help tenant-serving organizations support tenants facing unhealthy conditions in their home. Topics included pest infestations and secondhand smoke, mold and lead, and ventilation/air filtration and tenants’ habitability rights. Check out the recordings here!
