The US Environmental Protection Agency has partnered with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in developing a new online course, “Wildfire Smoke and Your Patients’ Health.” The course is free and available online, and includes information on wildfire smoke including health effects, air quality, actions to take before and during a wildfire, and more. The course takes about 45 minutes to complete and continuing education credits are provided. Content is geared toward physicians, registered nurses, asthma educators, and others involved in clinical and health education.
