On May 5-6, 2026, RAMP hosted the 2026 Community Action to Fight Asthma (CAFA) Virtual Summit! This biannual event brings together asthma stakeholders from across California for capacity-building, peer learning, and collective action.
2026 CAFA Summit Details:
- Day 1 of the Summit featured a panel presentation on asthma, indoor air quality, and extreme heat in housing, as well as a presentation on lessons learned through the implementation of Asthma Preventive Services (APS) and Asthma Remediation (AR). The day concluded with small group peer discussions focused on housing, schools, outdoor air quality, and APS/AR implementation.
- Day 2 featured a panel on California policy opportunities for 2026. At the end of Day 2, attendees were able to prepare for legislative education visits, which will be scheduled at the end of May.
