Pacific Environment has opened its 2024 grant applications for organizations to support work on ending ship and port pollution. Frontline organizations, community-based groups, and environmental justice organizations are encouraged to apply to help create safer and thriving port communities.
Grant requests can be of any size, with the previous funding opportunity’s average grant size being $65,000. Projects in California, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Washington will be prioritized, though other regions in the United States will be considered.
Applications are open now. The deadline for Letters of Intent is July 31, 2024. Applicants will be notified of award decisions in December 2024.
