RAMP staff have over two decades of experience and expertise in reducing the burden of asthma with a focus on health equity. Our strategies include:
- Building capacity of asthma and health equity stakeholders through providing technical assistance, developing tools, and hosting workshops. Our support includes providing one-on-one technical assistance, facilitating peer learning groups, and conducting capacity building webinars on a range of topics and for diverse audiences. Our technical assistance and capacity building experience also extends to policy-making; we can help you understand and shape the policy-making process at a range of levels.
- Bringing people together for peer learning and network development. We have deep experience with coalition and network development and implementation, including promoting collaboration among diverse sectors – for example, among housing affordability, tenants’ rights, and public health sectors.
- We mobilize our networks for policy and systems change. (Learn more about our strategies here). We also have expertise in the social determinants that impact asthma and many other health conditions, including housing, outdoor air quality, and healthcare financing.
