As the summer begins to head toward fall (and we all wonder where the time went!), here’s a RAMP roundup of the last several months.
- We hosted the Community Action to Fight Asthma (CAFA) Virtual Summit where speakers and participants discussed indoor air quality, Medi-Cal’s asthma home visiting services, California policy developments, and more. Check out the details here.
- With our partners at the National Center for Healthy Housing, we hosted a webinar, Sustainable Financing for Home-Based Asthma Services: Snapshots of Innovation and Progress Across the Country, featuring success stories from across the country. The recording is online.
- As part of our leadership of the California Healthy Housing Collaborative, RAMP continued to host webinars on indoor air quality-related issues raised by tenant-serving organizations. That included a June webinar on mold. Click here and scroll to the bottom to watch it.
- With the uptick in wildfires across the country, we distributed a wide range of resources developed by RAMP and our partners to help protect people from the dangers of wildfire smoke.
- We continued to host webinars for our asthma home visiting Community Health Worker Network. You can check out past recordings – including our most recent one on wildfire smoke exposure – here. To receive emails about upcoming workshops, please complete this form.
As always, these and other activities aim to advance our mission to reduce the burden of asthma with a focus on health equity. We appreciate our partnerships with so many of you to make it happen!
