Webinar Recording: Sustainable Financing for Asthma Education and Home Environmental Trigger Remediation – Lessons Learned from the Field

In the Fall 2017, RAMP released Sustainable Financing for Asthma Education and Home Environmental Trigger Remediation: Lessons Learned from the Field. The document highlights lessons learned from a variety of efforts across select states to increase access to and the sustainability of in-home asthma services.

To ensure that people with poorly controlled asthma have access to the services and systems they need to be healthy, advocates have long recognized the need for sustainable financing for asthma education and home environmental trigger assessment and remediation. Recent transformations to the health care system, including a greater emphasis on prevention, provide more opportunities to sustain existing programs and bring such services to scale.

On May 7th, 2018, RAMP hosted a webinar to share lessons related to efforts in California, Michigan, New Mexico and elsewhere. Participants also learned more about online lessons and technical assistance available from the National Center for Healthy Housing to help advance this work.
